I don't know if it fits your style - but less blowing up of ships and more ransoming usually helps to fill the wallet again - any other activity including mining makes more profit per hour, but ransoms can be a lot more fun.

Well, another thing to try is buying the mission item back from the pirate who killed you. Depending on which pirate corp it is it a) may work, or b) you may be blown up a second time when getting there to pick it up. Have a look on the forums ...

As long as the guy just salvages you will not have any kill right - only when he takes your loot you will have a right to shoot him. Of course you may also shoot him when he engages you (aka suicide gank), but then he will be concorded anyway.

Maybe you'll want to do some real fighting and go for PVP? There is nothing more unpredictable than a human opponent, when you're looking for a real challenge I guess you might enjoy it.

'The Assault' is another mission with lots of drone aggro. But still they're especially helpful there because of the massive dampening. Losing one drone from time to time is the equivalent to ammo costs . But fitting a remote armor repairer helps...

Take a regular Raven and be no sissie . Prepare your ship properly for the type of rats you are facing, be aware of warp scramblers (always kill them first if you are concerned about the damage taken) and ready to warp out if something goes wrong....
